Led by Peter Torres III\, Founder of Field Fluid Academy\, this clinic is designed to help young athletes elevate their defensive game. \nThis is not another big camp. With only 16 spots available\, athletes are guaranteed a small group setting that allows for direct feedback from Coach Pete\, focused instruction\, and quality reps. \nKey Focus Areas \n\nFootwork\nThrowing\nRhythm\nTiming\nEfficient Movement\nConfidence Through Fundamentals\n\nOne of our goals at The Barrel Zone is to provide athletes in the Sacramento area with access to more detailed and specialized training outside of their normal team practices. \nProper infield mechanics\, footwork\, throwing\, rhythm\, and timing can sometimes be difficult to address thoroughly during regular team practices because coaches are responsible for covering so many different areas in a limited amount of time. \nThis clinic gives athletes an opportunity to slow things down\, learn the details behind their movements\, and get focused instruction that can help them become more confident and efficient defensive players. Developing better movement patterns and mechanics can also help athletes put themselves in stronger\, safer positions on the field.
